  • Professional Electronic Timing with full category results

Mandatory Gear

5km competitors 'DO NOT NEED TO DO A GEAR' check before they can receive their race pack at Race Check-in. 

Your are not required to carry all your mandatory gear with you, but it is recommended to have the 'Recommend Gear' available at the Start/Finish HQ aid station tent.

Mandatory Gear you must carry at all times:

  • Mobile Phone ( for photos and to call us if you need us )

  • Whistle

  • Water Bottles or Bladders (capacity to carry 0.5 litres of water)

  • Compression Bandage (Minimum Dimensions 7.5cm Wide x 2.3m Long Unstretched)

Recommended Gear (Depending on Conditions):

  • Long Sleeve Synthetic Fleece Top

  • Waterproof and Breathable Jacket with Fully Taped.

  • Beanie or Buff.

  • Full-Fingered Lightweight Thermal Gloves (Polypropylene, Wool)

The mandatory gear required to carry, may change if weather conditions are very cold or wet. 

This decision can be made by the Race Director at any time.


Please note we will not post any items left behind, it is your responsibility to collect them before 2pm Sunday 17 July 2022



You have 1 1/2 hours to complete the full 5 km course 

  • It is the discretion of the course sweep to allow you to continue, if they catch up to you at an aid station.

  • NO CUPS on course

Race Pack Mail out

  • You don't need to do an Online gear check first and pass.

  • Not available after 29th June 2022 (for race pack mailout only).  

  • Option to have your race pack sent out is on your registration and will cost you $8.95. If you change you mind later and want it sent out. Go back into your registration and pay for the race pack option.

Name on Bib

  • You can put your name, nickname, something funny, group name etc. on your bib. You will be asked at time of registration if you would like something written on your bib. 

  • Cut off date for name on bib is 19th June 2022. If not filled in, your bib will be blank.

  • After this date you will have to write it on with texta if you would like something on it.
