Listed below is all the information regarding entering the race and what your entry includes.

PLEASE NOTE: A 3.00% [+GST] Booking Fee and a Payment Processing Fee is applicable to this entry.

  • We will have some hot foods during the night time Pasta, Noodles, Soup, Spuds, Hot tea and coffee. ( There will be other hot food and real coffee for sale from the food van & BBQ)

  • Professional First Aid( St John's NSW Event Health Services) and medical support on course and the event HQ

  • Professional Electronic Timing with full category results

 

Mandatory Gear

Your are not required  to carry all your mandatory gear with you, but it is mandatory that you have it available at the Start/Finish HQ  aid station tent.

 Mandatory Gear you must carry at all times:

  • Mobile Phone ( for photos and to call us if you need us )

  • Whistle

  • Water Bottles or Bladders (capacity to carry 2 Litres of water)

  • Compression Bandage (Minimum Dimensions 7.5cm Wide x 2.3m Long Unstretched)

  • Small Backup Light

  • Emergency Space Blanket 

Mandatory Gear to be available at the Start/Finish HQ  aid station tent.

  • Main Headlamp + Spare Batteries (required to collect after 1pm Saturday)

  • Long Sleeve Synthetic Fleece Top

  • Long Sleeve Thermal Top (polypropylene, wool).

  • Long Leg Thermal Pants (polypropylene, wool).

  • Waterproof and Breathable Jacket with Fully Taped.

  • Beanie or Buff.

  • Full-Fingered Lightweight Thermal Gloves (Polypropylene, Wool)

Dropbags are to be left at the Start/Finish HQ  aid station tent.

The mandatory gear required to carry may change  if weather conditions are very cold or wet. 

This decision can be made by the Race Director at any time.

 

Please note we will not post any items left behind, it is your responsibility to collect them before 1pm Sunday 19st 2020

Cut-Offs

You have 41 hours (1.00pm Sunday) to complete the full 100 Mile (160km)course.

  • There will be NO last lap cut off.

  • To qualify for your UTMB Points, you MUST be finished within the 41hrs, 1.00pm Cut Off Sunday 19th. 

  • At 1pm Sunday 19th the Elephant Full Course is officially CLOSED to all runners regardless of where you are on course. All runners will be removed from course.

  • Pacers will be allowed for the last 2 laps (lap5&6). Pacers will not be provided. You must provide your own. 

Pacers

Rules on Pacers

  50 km Pacer 

  • They must purchase a 50km Pacer entry

  • They will receive a 50km medal once you both complete the final 2 laps (50km)

  • They must be ready to start your 5th lap (reverse direction) when you are regardless of time.

  • If their 160km competitor has not left on their 5th lap by 12am, or they have already pulled out, then their pacer is allowed to leave at 12am to complete the 50km reverse laps solo. They must be finished by 1pm Sunday. Course closes at 1pm, and they will be removed from course once closed. Once they complete the 50km (2 reverse laps) they will receive a 50km medal.  

  •  

  • 25 km Pacer 

  • They must purchase a 25km Pacer entry

  • They will receive a 25km medal once you both complete the final  lap (25km)

  • They must be ready to start your 5th or 6th lap (reverse direction) when you are regardless of time.

  • If their 160km competitor  already pulled out before 7am Sunday, then their pacer is allowed  complete in the 25km race. They must be finished by 1pm Sunday. Course closes at 1pm, and they will be removed from course once closed. Once they complete 1 x 25 km lap ( they will receive a 25km medal.
