REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS

If you can no longer participate in the event please refer to 'Refund Policy' and 'Entry Transfers' below to check your available options.

 

Please note the event will not be cancelled due to rain. Race organizers will review the track conditions leading up to the event and update everyone via the event website. 



REFUND POLICY

If you can't find anyone to replace you and would prefer a refund of your entry fee we are able to provide:

  • 50% refund if you advise us by email before the late entry fee date (11:59PM Friday 22th May 2020).

  • No monetary refund if you advise us after 11:59PM Friday 22th May 2020.

TO CANCEL AN ENTRY

Send an email to run@coastaltrackandtrailrunners.com.au  with the heading “[Your full name] [Your event] Entry Cancellation” Simply mention in the email that you are cancelling  your entry.

You will receive a reply email to confirm that your request has been received.

A refund of 50% of your entry will be credited if you advise us by email before the late entry fee date (11:59PM Friday 22th May 2020) 



In the event that the event course is, in the opinion of the event organisers, unsafe (for example by reason of heavy rain, high winds, bush fires, "acts of god"), organisers may, in their sole discretion, attempt to re-route the course, find an alternative shortened course or cancel the event. Organisers also reserve the right to cancel the event for any other reason which may include but is not limited to terrorism and war. If the event is cancelled, re-routed or shortened, no refund or transfer to another event will be made. Due to the scale of the event and travel & commitment involved by competitors, it is not practical to re-schedule the event to any other weekend.

TRANSFER POLICY

Participants can transfer their entry to another person prior to (11:59PM Friday 5th June 2020). 

You need to arrange reimbursement for your entry between yourself and the person taking your entry.

Transfer will not be completed until the transfer fee is paid by the new participant.

  • Flat fee of $50 will apply to all transfers if you advise us by email before  11:59PM Friday 5th June 2020.

  • No transfers permitted after 11:59PM Friday 5th June 2020

 

TO TRANSFER AN ENTRY

Send an email to run@coastaltrackandtrailrunners.com.au  with the heading “[Your full name] [Your event] Entry Transfer”. Send  copy of the email to the new entrant making sure to put the new entrant’s email address in either the ‘To’ field or the ‘Cc’ field . Simply mention in the email that you are transferring your entry to [new entrant’s full name] and [Phone number]

You will receive a reply email to confirm that your request has been received.

An email will also be sent to the new entrant by race management. Your entry will be cancelled without refund. You need to arrange reimbursement for your entry between yourself and the person taking your entry.

The new entrant will be sent a link to enter along with a voucher code to cover the cost of the entry fee less $50.   The new entrant will create a new entry from scratch and pay the $50  but you will already have paid for their entry.

UPGRADE / DOWNGRADE POLICY

No upgrades or downgrades permitted after 11:59PM Friday 3th July 2020.

Upgrades pay the difference of the entry fee.
